Party time

The launch party for our first ever record release takes place on the 15th of this month at The Flowerpot in North London. All things considered, this is a huge night in Laissez Faire Club history – we’ve been wanting to put records out for some time now, and are over the moon we’re on the verge of getting some 7″s out there for all you good people.

Of course, Ice Black Birds will be taking to the stage to persuade you (if it were necessary) that they’re one of the most exciting live bands out there at the moment, and we’ve also arranged a stellar support bill to get things warmed up. Entry to the event is completely free, and you’ll be able to purchase copies of the IBB single on the night, should you so wish. For full details, see our events section.

If that wasn’t enough, we’re giving away a rare Ice Black Birds mp3 to anyone who RSVPs to the Facebook event. Do it here, let us know you’ve done so (by Emailing us), and we’ll whisk you a copy of ‘Problems In Hand’.

The sterling poster design was done by Oli Frape, incidentally, and is one of the best jpegs we’ve ever received. It’s all pointing towards a big one – save the date and we’ll see you by the bar, as they say.
