Another busy week for shows in London town: Monday night sees Australia’s Angus Stone kick off a 2-night residency at The Lexington, with the brilliant Luke Sital-Singh in support. Brighton’s Cave Painting also appear at The Old Queens Head, and the piping hot Angel Haze plays a sold out show at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen. Kyla La Grange plays her biggest headline gig to date on Tuesday night, in support of recent debut album Ashes – those heading there might want to take note of the aftershow party at nearby Surya. Savages play two nights at Electrowerkz, on Wednesday and Thursday, off the back of their recent Jools Holland appearance and continued critical acclaim. Those in proximity to West London could do worse than to go and check out WALL. on Thursday evening at Notting Hill Arts Club for the inaugural Black Cab Sessions night there. The weekend, for once, has notable gigs happening – Manchester’s Shinies play Birthdays on Saturday evening, and Red Kite play a free entry show at Proud on Sunday.
